Aon boosts health and benefits business with new Director

Sydney, 15 January, 2018 – Aon has announced Stuart Whitbread as Director of Health and Benefits to lead Aon’s client advocacy model.

The new appointment complements Aon’s established team of experts, with Whitbread charged with focusing on leveraging Aon’s global and local corporate health and employee benefits capabilities.

Working with the broader People Risk leadership team, Whitbread will drive client retention and new business growth as part of Aon continuously improving its health and benefits offer.

Aon’s Health and Benefits business delivers creative solutions for the corporate health and employee benefits market in Australia through powerful market insights driven by technology and real time data, and an engaging and personalised client experience.

“Stuart’s 15 years of experience and deep industry knowledge will strengthen Aon’s Health and Benefits business, whilst broadening the expertise we provide. Stuart’s impressive track record in leading teams to successful growth is a welcome addition,” said Jennifer Richards, Managing Director of Aon Risk Solutions in Australia.

Whitbread joins Aon having most recently been the Executive Manager of Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group’s (JLT) NSW Public Sector business. Prior to that role, he successfully led the Benefit Solutions business at JLT as Divisional Director, growing the division from 25 people to approximately 60 people.

Aon’s latest role appointment follows several recent additions to the Health & Benefits team, including Damien Kelly as Director of Health & Benefits National sales team.

“Aon’s Health and Benefits business has an outstanding reputation, and I’m looking forward to joining the team. In working with an industry leader and a team of industry-leading specialists, I am excited to have the opportunity to enhance Aon’s value proposition and deliver a customer-centric model that drives value for our clients across every aspect of our engagement,” said Stuart Whitbread.
