Sean McCarty is head of the Capital Markets Group in the Americas for Aon Securities. Sean is responsible for capital markets transactions for Aon. Since 1998, he has been involved in structuring and marketing numerous insurance-linked securities transactions and setting up new insurance companies. He has worked extensively in the alternative risk transfer sector and regularly advises clients in the structuring and placement of insurance risk linked securities, including, catastrophe bonds and loans, sidecar debt and equity, and other reinsurance transactions.

Sean is a CPA and holds a B.S. in Commerce with a concentration in Accountancy and a M.S. in Taxation from DePaul University. He is also a Registered Principal of Aon Securities Inc.
