Aon to host 2020 Virtual Aon Insights Series in Australia
Sydney, 13 October 2020 – Aon (NYSE:AON), a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions, today announced the launch of the 2020 Virtual Aon Insights Series in Australia, the first virtual and 16th annual Aon Insights Series conference.
As 2020 has demonstrated, global risks are at an all-time high and the Aon Insights Series aims to provide business leaders with the latest information to recognise, harness and maximise the opportunity that volatility brings – both now and in the future.
The 2020 Virtual Aon Insights Series will be held on 27 and 29 October and 5 and 10 November. The theme of this year’s Aon Insights series is “Better Decisions in a Complex and Volatile World.” In a world where new and complex volatility is the new norm, the sessions will explore how to recognise disruption as an opportunity to enable strategic growth.
Greg Case, Chief Executive Officer of Aon plc and James Baum, Chief Executive Officer of Aon Australia, will open the event and welcome a virtual audience of more than 500 risk, insurance and HR leaders. Jason Disborough, Chief Executive Officer, Multinational Clients (International) at Aon, will return as conference master of ceremonies.
Attendees will hear from leading local and international speakers who will discuss the new economic environment, analysing climate risk, building brand and reputation resilience, optimising the workforce of the future and understanding the CFO mindset as well as a series of industry-specific sessions highlighting respective market challenges and opportunities.
The challenges facing businesses are no longer uniform, and Aon’s expert panellists will provide insight, new strategies and real-life case studies to help risk leaders navigate through this increasingly demanding environment.
The 2020 Aon Insights Series, formerly called the Advanced Risk Conference, is part of a global series with virtual events in Singapore and London in the past month, and an event planned for Latin America in November.
