Aon appoints Kevan Johnston as CEO of Australia

SYDNEY, 20 March 2025 - Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced the appointment of Kevan Johnston as CEO of Australia, effective 1 April.

Based in Sydney, Johnston will work alongside the Australian Executive Leadership Team to drive growth, financial performance and execute on Aon’s 3x3 Plan. He will work with local, regional and global leaders to enhance capabilities across solution lines and industry verticals to deliver results for clients and colleagues.

Johnston will report to Jennifer Richards, CEO of Asia Pacific, and will partner closely with Richards during the transition. He will join the Asia Pacific Executive Committee.

Johnston has spent over 30 years in the insurance industry in both Australia and the UK and has held several senior leadership positions at JLT and Aon. He has extensive experience across Aon’s Australian business, having previously served as chief commercial officer, then as head of National, Aon’s mid-market segment, and currently as the head of Global and Corporate, supporting large ASX listed, private and government clients.
